The ore-bearing beresitic hydrothermal-metasomatic rock association is characterized. (IMGRE) // imgre@imgre.ru METHODOLOGY OF EXPLORATION VARIOUS-SCALE GEOCHEMICAL WORKS FOR EXAMPLE ORGANIZATION IN ZAKAMENSKIY DISTRICT (REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA) A series of geochemical projects of different scale was carried out in Zakamensky area, the Republic of Buryatia: the 1:200 000 survey covered 17 200 km2; the 1:50 000 bedrock gold-oriented geochemical survey covered 580 km2, and detailed soil sampling with geological survey and test mine workings covered 6 properties with total area of 6 km2. The paper deals with several issues in techniques and methods employed there. (Geological Institute SB RAS) MAGMATISM AND ORE FORMATION IN VARIOUS GEODYNAMIC SITUATIONS OF SAYANO-BAYKALSKOY OF FOLDED AREA AND NEAR TERRITORIES A model of the geodynamic evolution of various types of the Neoproterozoic and Vendian-Paleozoic tectonic structures (terranes) in the interaction zone between the Siberian continent and Paleoasian Ocean has been developed on compilation of the geological, petrological-geochemical and isotope-geochronological data on the Sayan-Baikal fold area and adjacent territories. These tectonic structures primarily include the subduction zones and related ensimatic and ensialic volcanic island arcs as well as the areas of the continental intraplate (plume) magmatism. New data on multiple magmatism and ore formation in the studied region are presented. The paper explores the contribution of miners and geologists to the development of the region under examination and to the coal industry of Russia. Another objective of the article is to analyze the overall input of JSC “Tugnuisky Open-pit mine” into the economy of the region mentioned above.
