ABOUT THE INDICATOR VALUE OF THE GOLDEN ROSSIPS OF THE NORTH OF GUYANA
Present article attempts to examine the prospects of gold mining development in the Republic of Guyana on the basis of available published data and personal experience of one of the authors from conducting the expert prospecting on the placer deposits of North Guyana (Mathews Ridge area). The main Guyana’s gold deposits are located in greenstone belt, controlled by endocontacts of granitoid intrusions and are accompanied by numerous rich placers. These placers are the objects for small scale and artisanal mining and provide a significant proportion of the Guyana’s extracted gold. It is established that the studied area of the placer gold is confined to complications large granitoid intrusions and it’s satellites among the shale strata. Such placers serve as a direct indication of undiscovered bedrock gold deposits.

MINERALOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF JEWELRY PYRITE FROM THE CRETACEOUS DEPOSITS OF ULYANOVSK REGION
Gemological descriptions of spectro-pyrite – chuses of pyrite with bright many-coloured tarnish used in jewelry articles were studied for the first time. The chuses of spectro-pyrite are formed in marl biscuits collected from argillaceous deposits of Aption in Ulyanovsk region. The veinlets of spectro-pyrite, according to radiographical analysis consist from pyrite and dispersive calcite. Anhydrite and bassanite are fixed in them. It was established by carried out electronic-microscopic researches that facets of pyrite under oxidizing processes are exposed to intensive etching with formation of the superfine crusts and pellicles mainly oxides and hydroxides of iron. The colour of pyrites surface is connected with interference of light on pellicular formations and is defined by their mineral composition and thickness.

EMPLOYMENT OF 3-D MODELING AT THE SEARCH STAGE OF GEOLOGICAL-PROSPECTING WORKS ON COAL
The possibilities of 3-D geological modeling in the environment ArcGIS of coal objects (plots of search works) of the South-Yakutian basin and Eastern Donbas are presented. The informatonal technology of modeling based on the factographic database on boreholes and 2-D digital models is described. The constructed 3-D models can be used for amplification of geological structure of coal-bearing strata and quantitative express-estimation of coal resources at allotting of licence plots.

FORECASTS AND OPENING OF OIL ON SPITSBERGEN
In the early 1990 years, a number of oil and gas deposits were discovered in the wells on the bank of the Petunia bay in gypsum-carbonate deposits of Carboniferous age. These findings led to a review of the available geological information and a reassessment of the archipelago’s prospects in the oil and gas bearing respect. The possibility of new discoveries of hydrocarbon deposits on Russian sites is justified on it by available data on the structure of the section, the presence of reservoirs and fluids in it, the spread of oil and gas manifestations, and is confirmed by regional prerequisites and comparisons. The inconsistency of the traditional skeptic attitude to the probability of finding clusters of hydrocarbon raw materials here is shown, which is determined to a large extent by opportunistic considerations.

GEOLOGYCAL AND GEOPHYSICAL MODEL OF KHARANUR GOLD DEPOSIT IN WEATHERING CRUST (SOUTH–EASTERN PART OF EASTERN SAYAN)
As a result of complex geological and geophysical work on the territory of the Kharanur gold ore formation in 2013-2014, a unique material on the geological structure and reflection of known structural elements in geophysical fields has been collected on the drilling profiles. Based on the results of processing with the use of detailed drilling data, the main advantages and disadvantages of the geophysical methods used were determined and a comprehensive geological and geophysical prospecting model of gold deposits in weathering crusts known in the territory of the Eastern Sayan was compiled.

UNESCO GEOPARK AS A POTENTIAL OF CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The organization of the World Network of National Geoparks has been implemented by UNESCO since 2004 as part of the International Geoscience Program aimed at the interaction of the natural sciences, education and culture. Today in 33 countries of the world there are 119 geoparks. In the Russian Federation there are currently no geoparks under the auspices of UNESCO, and their creation carries a great potential for cultural, scientific and economic development of the country. The current year 2017, announced as the year of ecology in Russia, is designed to draw public attention to environmental problems and the long overdue need to create geoparks in the country.

THE INFLUENCE OF GEOLOGICAL-MINEROGENIC AND ANTHROPOGENIC FACTORS ON THE STATE OF THE HYDROSPHERE ELABORATING OF DEPOSITS
Causes of chemical contamination of the hydrosphere are shown by the exmples a number of various solid mineral deposits. By considering the initial geological and mineragenic factors of influence on the state of the hydrosphere and man-made as they are aggravating. Under the first refers to the composition of ores and host rocks with their near-ore changes, and fracture; the second is the actual elaborate of deposits, mining of ores and some of the conditions of storage of tailings.

THE ECOLOGICAL AND GEOCRYOLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF THE TOMTOR FIELD (NORTH-WESTERN YAKUTIA)
The ecologic-geocryological conditions of the Tomtor deposit are described, it is unique regarding the sources of rare elements in the North of Siberia. The deposit has an unfavorable geographical position, but the economic efficiency of its development is obvious. New data on the results of geocryological studies of the Melnikov Permafrost Institute of SB RAS are given.
