Real success of this work was laid in the 1930s. Ore deposits of basic elements would form an economic basis of the Karamazar ore district of Tadzhikistan. Geologists of Dr. Wolfson’ academic school were at the origin of the study of uranium deposits of the Central Asia, which became a reliable mineral resources base for the USSR Atomic project. (MGRI-RGGRU) // petrignatov@gmail.com PROBABLE GOLD ZONES IN THE SAN-FERNANDO SULFIDE DEPOSIT (CUBA) The discovery of commercial gold deposits is currently of particular interest to Cuba. Several copper-zinc pyrite deposits are known from the Central Cuba region, where the major occurrence is the San Fernando. Gold occurs mainly as inclusions in chalcopyrite, as well as veinlets and thin inclusions in quartz-sericite-chlorite metasomatites. However, its spatial distribution and extent has not been clarified. This paper proposes steeply dipping presumably gold zones from vein-disseminated copper-zinc pyrite ores within the San Fernando deposit. The analysis of main component distribution of copper and zinc and associated gold and silver was achieved through a compiled database in the Quantum GIS environment. The nature of gold mineralization partially superimposed on pyrite ores is reinforced by the relatively independent distribution of noble and chalcophile metals, and by the absence of correlation between these metals. Keywords: San Fernando pyrite deposit (Cuba), linear stockworks, sulfide ores, gold mineralization. Р. 8-14 |

The distribution of groundwater reserves by the administrative-territorial objects of the south of the Komi Republic, by geological and hydrogeological structures, by 83 explored deposits of drinking and industrial groundwater is analyzed. The volumes of groundwater production in 2019 are given. A low degree of development of the resource potential and groundwater reserves is noted. The degree of development of reserves does not exceed 6 %. The degree of knowledge of groundwater is 1 %. The aquifers (horizons) of fresh groundwater of the research area are characterized. Carbonate leaching of scandium from RM during СО2 pulp saturation and sulfuric acid leaching of Sc from WMS were studied. It is shown that the main factor reducing the extraction of scandium into carbonate solutions is its co-precipitation with aluminium due to hydrolytic polymerization in the presence of a carbonic acid proton. Extraction of scandium from WMS into sulfuric acid solutions is determined by degree of amorphous structure of diopside in process of mechanical activation of initial mineral raw material. This article substantiates the possibility of creating its own mineral resource base of REE. In Uzbekistan, manifestations of rare earth mineralization are known, but no deposits have been identified. The nature of the distribution of REE in various geological formations of the world and Uzbekistan in a comparative aspect has been studied, geological positions have been identified for further study and a strategy has been developed for creating a mineral resource base of REE in Uzbekistan. Their displacement is associated with Upper Jurassic clays. Landslides can be described mainly by regressive nature of development and long (hundreds of years) periods of slow (1 — 30 cm / year) deformations, followed by periods of their activation with displacements of several meters or more. The activation of these landslides threatens many structures, such as ancient temples, some of which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
