LOCATION CONDITIONS AND GEOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL PREREQUISITES FOR THE FORMATION OF GOLD MINERALIZATION IN THE PRECAMBRIAN ROCKS OF THE YENISEI RIDGE

As a large gold-bearing province, the Yenisei Ridge does not show elevated background gold concentrations. All types of its sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks, except only the carbonaceous black shales, contain concentrations of the noble metal at the level of its clarke values. All local gold deposits are constrained within the regional Central Metallogenic Belt, in which geological–geochemical conditions occurred that were favorable for the deposition of gold and gold–uranium ore mineralization: most of the deposits are constrained within a trough structure, the area was affected by several pulses of plume magmatism, which introduced, redistributed, and concentrated gold and uranium, and the developing ore-concentrating and ore-controlling systems formed economic deposits and associated zones of hydrothermal metamorphism with geochemical aureoles of Pb, Zn, Ag, Au, Bi, and As.

Keywords: stages and types of the formation of gold ore mineralization, Central metallogenic belt, Yenisei Ridge.

CHROMITE PLACERS OF THE PRE-URAL PART OF THE EAST EUROPEAN PLATFORM (WESTERN BASHKIRIA)

Placer occurrences of chromites of alluvial and coastal marine genesis have been found in Permian sediments of Pre-Ural zone of Bashkiria. The Cr2O3 content in the layers enriched with heavy minerals reaches 10 %. The mineral composition of the heavy fraction of sediments is dominated by magnetite, titanomagnetite, chrome spinelides, and ilmenite. By their chemical composition, chrome spinelides are close to similar minerals of ophiolite formations, while the nearest hyperbasite massifs of Kraka are located 200 km to the east within the folded structures of the Urals. It is assumed that the placers were formed due to ophiolite overthrust, which extended over considerable distances to the west of the modern outcrops of the hyperbasite massifs of the Southern Urals. The industrial significance of the identified placers has not been determined, as they have been studied in several natural outcrops over a limited area and are not contoured along the strike.

Keywords: chromites, placers, ophiolites, Southern Urals.

NEW DATA ON THE COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF THE LEVOAINANENSKY ORE FIELD OF THE OMOLON MASSIF (MAGADAN REGION, RUSSIA)

The article presents new data on the complex study of the Levoainanen ore-bearing area in the northwestern part of the Omolon massif. The area is composed of sedimentary strata of the Triassic and Jurassic, introduced by dikes and small intrusive stocks. Volcanic formations of different facies are significantly eroded and preserved in fragments. According to geophysical data, larger intrusions are recorded at depth. Gold-silver mineralization of the volcanogenic type is localized at the contacts of stocks and dykes of intermediate and acidic composition and is controlled by quartz-carbonate vein zones of meridional and northeastern strike. Extensive geochemical halos of gold, silver and chalcophilic elements are mapped in the central part of the area in the zone of influence of the not eroded intrusion.

USING A MATRIX MODEL TO CALCULATE RESERVES OF THIN ORE BODIES (USING COBALT-RICH FERROMANGANESE CRUSTS OF THE OCEAN FLOOR AS AN EXAMPLE)

A matrix model is proposed as a methodological basis for delineating and calculating reserves of thin gently sloping mineral bodies using the example of cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts of the World Ocean floor. The resulting matrix allows you to estimate reserves in any spatial cell, the size of which is determined based on the results of a preliminary geostatistical analysis. The matrix is transformed into a tabular form, and the procedures for outlining the counting blocks are reduced to selecting cells that meet the required requirements and the required degree of exploration.

Keywords: matrix model, inventory calculation, geostatistical analysis, contouring, mining and geological information systems, cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts.

ASSESSMENT OF EFFECTIVENESS OF IMAGE SEGMENTATION USING NEURAL NETWORKS IN OPTICAL-PETROGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF ROCKS AND MINERAL RAW MATERIALS

The article shows the possibilities of the up-to-date complex of mineral analytical methods for solving petrography problems using neural networks via the decoding petrographic specimen images example by segmentation method, as well as the expediency of this method, which uses machine learning algorithms to examine translucent petrographic thin sections in transmitted polarized light. Mineralogical studies were carried out according to the methodological documentation approved by the Scientific Council on Methods of Mineralogical Research [3]. The novelty elements are expressed in a new methodological approach to the mineral composition of rocks and mineral raw materials examination using machine learning algorithms (the Mineral C7 [4] and SIAMS 700/800 analyzers [9, 10], the SIAMS AIM neural network image analysis system [11]). There are presented the results of experimental and methodological work of mineralogical and petrographic studies on petrographic specimen image identification by segmentation method using neural networks.

FORMATION OF SECTIONS «QUALITY OF MINERAL RESOURCES» AND «TECHNOLOGICAL COMPLEX ON THE SURFACE» IN TECHNICAL PROJECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOLID MINERAL DEPOSITS

The article discusses the current issues of preparing sections of technical projects for the development of a deposit, which have a normatively defined structure in which each section has a well-defined role and a formulated purpose, which is explicitly or implicitly reflected in its name. Therefore, the content of the section should correspond to the title, and therefore to the purpose of its preparation. Failure to comply with this requirement means that the section does not contain all the data that makes it possible to analyze design solutions without the personal participation of the authors of the technical project, which is the reason for the refusal to approve it with the commission of the federal management body of the state subsoil fund, therefore, the project documentation cannot be approved in accordance with the established procedure. Using the example of the sections «Quality of minerals» and «Technological complex on the surface», typical mistakes of designers in their implementation are shown and examples of their normative and logically justified filling with information are given, which will allow designers to meaningfully approach the preparation of technologically and informationally interconnected sections of a technical project, reducing the loss of time to eliminate comments., issued in the form of Notifications on the need to finalize projects based on the results of the analysis of the project documentation by the curators and members of the CCR-TPI of Rosnedra during its preparation for consideration by the Commission in accordance with the requirements of Article 23.2 of the Federal Law «On Subsoil».
