GEODYNAMIC AND DOWNHOLE FACTORS ORE CONTENT OF NORTHEAST ASIA

The article discusses geodynamic and structural-metallogenic conditions that determine the location of ore regions and deposits. They are associated with the manifestation of subduction and collision-accretion processes in the area of interaction between the Pacific basin and the eastern outskirts of the continent, as well as within the continental regions of Transbaikalia, Mongolia and North China. Within the structural and metallogenic zones, the main endogenous deposits of leading geological and industrial types are characterized, including geological and formation conditions of localization, sequence of manifestation of geological, including ore-forming processes. The role of deep fluidization in the transformation of the main formation complexes of the earth’s crust and in the formation of magmatogenic and epigenetic productive solutions is also considered. The conclusion concludes that it is advisable to take into account geodynamic and deep factors of ore content in metallogenic studies and forecasting of objects of certain geological and industrial types.

TYPOCHEMISTRY AND MINERAL ASSOCIATIONS OF NATIVE PLACER GOLD IN THE KULTUMINSKY Au-Cu-Fe SKARN DEPOSIT DISTRICT (EASTERN TRANSBAYKALIA)

The region mainly contains Au-skarn and Au-polymetallic mineralization associated with monzodiorites of the Shakhtama complex (J2–3). The chemical compositions of ore and placer gold partially overlay in the fineness range of Au >780‰. Inclusion minerals in gold deposits and their associations are characteristic of different stages of mineralization. There is no correlation between their set and Au fineness. This reflects the presence of several generations of ore minerals and their spatial overlap. Probably, the main source of placer gold was later, superimposed mineralization, which led to increase of Au particles.

DENSITY MODEL AND METALLOGENIC POTENTIAL OF THE NORTHERN FLANK OF THE KUVALOROG INTRUSSIVE MASSIF (KAMCHATKA)

As a result of the interpretation of the Bouguer anomalies, a volumetric density model was built for the crustal block on the northern flank of the Kuvalorog gabbro-pyroxenite-cortlandite massif in the Kvinum-Kuvalorog nickel-bearing zone in the south of the Sredinny Ridge of the Kamchatka peninsula. The block contains a ore-magmatic system, promising for coppernickel mineralization. The position, shape, volume of the hidden intrusive and its metallogenic potential are determined from the density typical for mafic rocks in the model.

MINERALOGICAL AND PETROGRAPHIC FEATURES OF MINERALIZED ROCKS OF THE KARASAY SITE

The mineralogical and petrographic features of mineralized carbonate rocks of the Karasay site of the Almalyk ore district were studied. Carbonate rocks, firstly, are intensively enriched with organic material, creating favorable physicochemical conditions for the precipitation of sulfides; secondly, they are composed of the most granular, and therefore more porous, varieties of dolomites, in which the cell walls are composed of organic matter and near-clark contents of chalcophile elements were catalysts for the precipitation of sulfides. At the Karasay site, minerals are mainly represented by iron hydroxides, pyrite and native gold. Native gold is observed in the form of free grains in the non-metallic mass, and in intergrowths with ore minerals.

SOME PATTERNS OF EARTHQUAKE MANIFESTATION ACCORDING TO MAGNETOMETRIC AND OTHER DATA

By analyzing and summarizing more than 50 years of monitoring data on anomalous variations of the magnetic field at the landfills of Uzbekistan associated with earthquakes, as well as extensive data obtained in foreign countries, the features of long-term, medium- and short-term earthquake precursors were determined. Earthquake preparation is carried out in several stages, which are reflected in long-term, mediumterm and short-term processes. These processes together create patterns of earthquake manifestation. Empirical formulas for the dependences of the times of long-term and medium-term precursors on the magnitude of earthquakes are proposed.

DEVELOPMENT AND CREATION OF AN WEB-ATLAS «GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF THE CENOZOIC SEDIMENTS OF THE BREST REGION»

Present the experience of creating a web atlas «Geological structure of the Cenozoic sediments of the Brest region» using the capabilities of the cloud mapping platform ArcGIS Online. The backgrounds a structure of the atlas, peculiarities of its sections content and presentation of cartographic materials both in raster graphics format and in web-maps format. The created atlas can be considered as an information system, which helps to accumulate, display, update data on the geological structure of the Cenozoic sediments of the Brest region.

LEACHING OF URANIUM ORES WITH AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS OF GLYCINE

The results of experimental studies on the leaching of uranium with aqueous solutions of glycine from ores resistant to sulfuric acid leaching arepresented. The leaching mode isdefined for different types of ores. The effect of slightly acidic glycine solutions on the granulometric composition of ores is discovered, due to which it is possible to increase the extraction of uranium and reduce acid consumption during heap leaching of acid-intensive ores.

BUILDING STONE IN THE SYSTEM OF SUBSURFACE USE OF COMMON MINERALS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Among the common minerals, an important place is occupied by construction stone, which is widely used in the construction complex. The most massive product (85–95 % of the total volume of marketable products) obtained from it is crushed stone. In the regional lists of common minerals of the subjects of the Russian Federation, construction stone is not indicated, but rocks used for the production of stone for various purposes, crushed stone, etc. are given. Currently, their updating is required. At the same time, it is necessary to increase the role of the «center of responsibility» in the field of subsoil use of common minerals not only at the level of the subjects of the Russian Federation, but also at the federal level, which will solve a number of issues. These include: the ordering of the conceptual and terminological base for construction stone, the introduction of differentiated rates instead of a flat scale of mineral extraction tax, an increase in output, especially highstrength crushed stone, for various segments of the country’s market.
