THE GENESIS OF THE VORONTSOVSKOYE DEPOSIT AND PROSPECTS FOR GOLD MINING IN THE EASTERN URALS (IN LIGHT OF GEOCHEMICAL DATA)

The article is devoted to assessing the prospects for gold mineralization in the Eastern Urals on the basis of geochemical data obtained during the study of geochemical aureoles of the Vorontsovskoye deposit and regional geochemical works at a scale of 1:1,000,000 on sheet O-41. The purpose of the study is to identify and forecast new gold ore regions that are promising for the discovery of industrial gold deposits in the Eastern Urals. The studies included field observations, geochemical sampling of bottom sediments and bedrock, and analytical work. More than 2000 samples were analyzed. The abundances of Au and its satellites were determined in them by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometric method (ICPMS) and approximate quantitative spectral (PCAESA) analysis and mercury by atomic absorption method (AAS) at the analytical center of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «IMGRE». Based on the obtained geochemical data and their interpretation, a new ore body is predicted to be discovered at the deep horizons of the Vorontsovskoye deposit, and a number of areas promising for the discovery of gold deposits have been identified in the territory of the Eastern Urals. The practical significance of the conducted research lies in the fact that geochemical anomalies promising for the discovery of new large gold deposits have been identified in a region with a developed mining base, but with a depleting MSB of gold.

Keywords: gold, Eastern Urals, Vorontsovskoye deposit, anomalous geochemical fields.

GENETIC FEATURES, GEOCHEMICAL SPECIALIZATION AND AUMPGUSULPHIDE ORE CONTENT IN THE BLACK SHALE PROVINCE OF UZBEKISTAN AND THE WORLD

Saturated with organic substance (OS) strata of silty-argillaceous, argillaceous-carbonate and siliceous rocks from the so-called «black-shale formations» (BF) have long attracted the attention of researchers as concentrators of many metals — noble, non-ferrous, rare earths, etc. Clay shales predominate in the composition of metal-bearing black shales. Quite often, siliceous schists, limestones, dolomites, marls. A characteristic feature of ore deposits in black shales is stratiformity. Nunc, complura exemplorum nota sunt quae processus chalcitidis eventum in strato mundi shale nigro designant. Unum ex his exemplaribus, quod fundamentum cepimus, a V.F. Protsenko [5]. The idea of creating the Auminzatau model was based on [7] the establishment of signs of zoning — the zone of ore concentration (OC) — in the distribution of uranium-rare-metal and gold ore occurrences and deposits in relation to the granite intrusive — the generator of ore-metasomatic solutions-fluids of the ore-magmatic system.

Keywords: black shales, geochemical specialization, ore provinces, integral models of ore content of Muruntau and Auminzatau gold, uranium, platinoids.

METHODOLOGY FOR TESTING GLACIAL DEPOSITS IN THE SEARCH FOR DIAMOND DEPOSITS

Macro- and mesoforms of the relief ancient glacial deposits are unevenly distributed over the area of glacier movement. Glaciers can sculpt and carve landscapes. This paper provides a summary of kimberlite mineral indicator and genetic types of deposits derived from glacial and water-glacial sediments and detection of drift localization. The theory of the formation of glacial deposits is the main one in this work, and this is considered as a prospect for the discovery of diamond deposits on the territory of the Republic of Karelia. The purpose of the work was a technique to identify magnetic anomalies due to kimberlite pipes, using the example of work in the search for diamonds in the North-West part of Canada.

Keywords: kimberlites, mineralogical prospecting, sampling, glacial deposits, Quaternary deposits.

GEOLOGICAL POSITION AND MATERIAL COMPOSITION OF ORES OF GOLD DEPOSITS OF THE KUANGNAMKUANGNGAY REGION, CENTRAL VIETNAM

Presented are the geologic setting, mineral and elemental composition of the ores, and the sequence diagram of mineral formation of the gold deposits of the Phuoc Son and Phuoc Thanh ore fields in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces in central Vietnam. According to geological mapping data at 1: 500000, 1:50,000 scale and larger, the gold mineralization is located in metamorphic rocks Nuivu and proterozoic-cambrian Kham Duc complex. The ore-bearing zones are associated with intrusive granitoid complexes of the Late Paleozoic Bengiang — QueSon and Permian Bana complexes. The gold ore bodies are represented by quartz-sulphide veins. The mineral composition of the ores was determined by examination of 399 anshlifs and diffractometry. Textural analysis was performed on more than 400 samples. Ore minerals include pyrite, gold, galena, sphalerite, arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, magnetite, and graphite. Melnikovite, hydrogetite, goethite, covellite, anglesite, scorodite and smithsonite have been diagnosed in the oxidation zone. Ore mineralization is accompanied by berezites and chlorite-sericite, metasomatites. The distribution of gold and related elements in the ores was determined by 201 atomic adsorption analyses. The geochemical relationship of the ore constituents was determined by the multifactorial statistical correlation method, which showed a weak positive correlation of gold with bismuth, silver and zinc.

KUYAN GOLDBEARING STRUCTURE OF THE ALBAZINO ORE CLUSTER: GEOLOGY, GEOPHYSICAL FIELDS, AND ORES

New data on the Kuyansk ore-bearing structure of the Albazinsky gold-bearing cluster are presented. A laccolith-type granodioritic subvolcanic intrusion intruded by andesitic eruptive breccias forms the basis of the structure. Geological features of the Kuyan structure can be recognized in characteristic concentric magnetic fields, as well as linear geoelectric fields corresponding to ore-bearing faults. Zones of beresitization contain Au, Cu, Bi, and Te mineralization allowing the mineralization to be assigned to the gold-rare metal type. The potential of the Kuyan structure to host mineralization is associated with meridional zones of low resistivity fixed at depth.

Keywords: Kuyan ore-bearing structure, subvolcanic intrusion, eruptive breccias, geophysical fields, ore mineralization.

SPATIAL RELATIONSHIP OF THE LOCATION OF OIL AND GAS BEARING STRUCTURES WITH THE STRUCTURE OF DEEP HORIZONS OF THE EARTH’S CRUST (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE VOLGA URAL OIL AND GAS PROVINCE, WITHIN THE BORDERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN)

In the middle of the last century P.N. Kropotkin [6] published an article in which he expressed the idea of a relationship between the processes of oil and gas accumulation and deep degassing of the Earth. Over time, a number of weighty arguments were accumulated in favor of the deep nature of oil and gas, which were given a genetic character and many interesting factors were revealed [4]: — the scales of modern and paleodegassing are three orders of magnitude higher than the probable possibilities of hydrocarbon generation in sedimentary basins; — according to the study of the ice cores of Antarctica and Greenland, the grandiose scales of the removal of hydrocarbon fluids into the Earth’s atmosphere and the waters of the World Ocean (through hydrocarbon degassing) in the geological past became known; — geodynamic and structural-tectonic control of global and regional irregularities in the distribution of oil and gas fields has been established; — fundamentally new evidence of the mantle nature of oils has been obtained based on the study of the spectra of lanthanides and platinoids in them, and many other data in favor of the leading role of endogenous factors in the genesis of hydrocarbon fluids.

Keywords: oil and gas accumulation processes, deep degassing of the Earth, mantle nature of oils, dynamic anomalies, formational zoning of the basement.
