ON THE STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE MINERAL RESOURCE BASE OF THE CENTRAL BLACK EARTH MACROREGION OF THE CENTRAL FEDERAL DISTRICT (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE VORONEZH REGION)
Voronezh region significant miner genic potential subsoil is determined by a successful combination of rich in minerals sedimentary cover and close to the surface uplift of basement of the East European platform — Voronezh crystalline massif: it has deposits with unique reserves of chalk, refractory clays, as well as confined to the basement formations — unique for the Central Federal District reserves of granites (building stones) and sulfide copper-nickel ores and fully secures its water supply through the extraction of groundwater.

OBJECTS FOR ESTIMATION OF THE COMPLEXITY OF THE GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF SOLID MINERALS DEPOSITS
The complexity of the geological structure of the deposit characterization is considered as a tool that allows you to choose the parameters of the exploration grid in various situations, especially at the early stages of work. The main indicators of complexity — the morphology and variability of exploration parameters within the object can vary depending on the methods of mining, as well as on the presence of areas with different types of mineralization within the deposit. Such parts of the deposit should be considered separately as objects of assessment of the complexity of the geological structure; the possibility of such an approach is proposed to provide for the updating of regulatory and methodological documents.

APPLICATION OF LOW-FREQUENCY GROUNDPENETRATING RADARS FOR THE STUDY AND CONTROL OF EXOGENOUS GEOLOGICAL PROCESSES
Landslides and karsts are becoming a serious problem, their localization and survey by GPR is a very efficient, inexpensive and fast method of investigation. It is shown that the struc-tural and functional models of the landslide slopes, developed on the basis of the obtained GPR data, help to estimate their stability and develop anti-landslide safety. When karst-suffusion processes are detected, GPR data may contribute to the development of an effective complex of anti-karst measures.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE NETWORK OF TECHNOLOGICAL WELLS FOR EFFECTIVE MINING OF URANIUM DEPOSITS BY BOREHOLE UNDERGROUND LEACHING
The analysis of the design of operating well pattern at the present time without taking into account the productivity of the ore formation is given. The advantage of using irregular well patterns over regular ones is shown. The main advantages are the achievement of simultaneous development time of the production block with a simultaneous reduction in the number of operating wells using hexagonal and in-line well patterns.

ALTERNATIVE METHODOLOGY FOR COUNTING SOLID MINERAL RESERVES
The methods of ore intervals contouring by the working steps of the quarry are considered, which makes it possible to more accurately assess the quantity and quality of ores to be electively excavated during open-pit mining.

The article shows the results of the work of the solid mineral resources management of the FBU «GKZ» on conducting a state examination of mineral resources. The main typical errors and omissions often encountered in the condition materials and inventory calculation are given.

RESULTS OF THE STATE EXPERTISE OF HYDROCARBON RESERVES
Five years have passed since the start of the implementation of the «Classification of reserves and resources of oil and combustible gases» and the assessment of all hydrocarbon reserves of the Russian Federation using new approaches both for the submission of materials for calculating reserves, operational changes in the state of reserves and the project document, and approaches for technical and economic assessment. There is no doubt that conducting any kind of experiments will contribute to a reliable assessment of the validity of the innovative and investment attractiveness of the field for oil and gas companies. State expert commissions on the materials submitted by subsurface users for the calculation of hydrocarbons have done a lot of work to assess the reliability of determining the calculation parameters, the allocated areas of categories and the amount of geological reserves of hydrocarbons. According to the results of the state examination, changes were made to the number of initial geological reserves for 400 (80.6% of the total deposits submitted for state examination). It is the state expertise that provides information for conducting a generalizing analysis at the state level in order to form proposals for further state regulation of taxation issues in the development of deposits (deposits) of hydrocarbons of the Russian Federation.

PROBLEMS AND MAIN DIRECTIONS OF UTILIZATION OF WASTES OF MINING AND PROCESSING PLANTS IN MINING AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
The article presents fundamentally new non-traditional technologies for the integrated use of ores of mining and chemical raw materials and their current and man-made waste to produce various commercial products from them. These technologies are based not on the decomposition of minerals contained in such raw materials with the extraction of useful components from them, but on the use of specific properties of the minerals themselves. The technologies discussed in the article can, when implemented at the relevant GOKs, ensure not only a more complete use of minerals with an improvement in the environmental situation in the relevant regions, but also the production of various valuable marketable products.

ECOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE CURRENT STATE OF WATERCOURSES IN THE AREA OF AVACHINSKY BAY (THE KAMCHATKA REGION) The article presents the results of the ecological and geochemical assessment of the current state of watercourses in the area of Avachinsky Bay (the Kamchatka Region). The object of the study was the bottom sediments of watercourses in order to determine the concentration of toxic heavy metals and, consequently, their possible impact on the current unfavorable environmental situation in the study area.
