GEOLOGICAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE VICTORY IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

This article is prepared in regard with the upcoming 75-th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. It reflects the state of the mineral resource base and the production of solid minerals — ferrous, non-ferrous, alloying metals and coal — significant for the military industry, providing for the needs of the national economy, and primarily of the militarytechnical industry, which increased significantly during the war period. The volumes of temporary decrease in mineral

production due to occupation of territories with large deposits during the first years of war are shown. The article provides the data on consistent increase of solid mineral reserves and mining in the eastern regions of the country, where thanks to the heroic efforts of geologists, miners, builders and other specialists, a mineral resource base was created, which significantly exceeded the pre-war one in terms of its quantitative and qualitative parameters. The main objects being developed during the war and the importance of the leading regions in creating the mineral and mining potential of the country have been consistently considered. The conclusion shows the positive changes in the reserves and production of significant solid minerals in the country as a whole from the prewar period to the end of the war, which ensured the production of significant volumes of military equipment and substantially became the key to the victory of the Soviet Union.

Keywords: mineral resource base, ferrous, nonferrous, alloying metals, coal, mining, production of minerals, the Great Patriotic War.

ORE POTENTIAL OF ALKALINE ROCKS

On the example of the formation of loparite, eudialyte, and apatite ores of the Kola Peninsula, it is shown that an early saturation of alkaline magma with respect to the ore mineral should be a necessary condition for the formation of a mag

matic deposit. An important factor should be active convection in the magma chamber, which causes sorting the mineral phases, which leads to the accumulation of ore minerals resulting in formation of magmatic deposits.

Keywords: formation of rare-metal deposits, Kola Peninsula, alkaline massifs, loparite ores, eudialyte deposits, apatite ores.

ABOUT GOLD PLACEMENT OF THE TURANIAN METALLOGENIC ZONE OF THE PRIAMURSKAYA PROVINCE

The results of the study the prospects of gold mineralization Turanian metallogenic zone of the Priamurskaya province are presented. The geological structure and gold content of

ore-placer knots are described. On the identification of commercial mineralization are the most promising goldsilver formation Simichinsky and Arkharinsky knots and gol-sulphidequartz — Aleunsky. Blades mining placers of Arkharinsky knot are of interest as technogenic placers. Keywords: metallogenic zone, ore-placer knot, gold, deposit, placer.

METASOMASOMATIC CARBONATITES FROM THE DEPOSIT OF JEWELERY SCAPOLITE MONTENEGRIN, CENTRAL PAMIR

Carbonate rocks similar to marbles and carbonatites have been established in the deposits of the jewelry scapolite Montenegrin. They contain gabbroids, large-crystalline amphibolites (albitephlogopite-hornblende composition) and albitites. Metasomatic carbonatites are dominated by calcite (70 %) and dolomite (15 %). Minor minerals (15 %) are represented by phlogopite, hornblende, albite, scapolite, apatite, titanite, rutile, etc. They contain elevated levels of Nb, Zr, W, REE. The shape of the bodies is lenticular, thickness from 0.2 to 5 m, length up to 15, rarely up to 80 m. They arose as a result of the replacement of silicates and other minerals with carbonate minerals. This process occurred at the latest stage of endogenous activity. Determining their metasomatic genesis will help to avoid errors in large-scale mapping, in which apo limestone and apodolomite marbles are used as marking horizons. The increased content of rare and rare-earth elements in the minerals allows us to consider them as a search feature of ore mineralization. Keywords: Central Pamir, Muskol-Rangkulsky anticlinorium, Muzkola series, sarydzhilginskaya series, kukart complex, deposits of jewelry scapolite Montenegrin, carbonate lenses, metasomatic carbonatites.

MATERIAL COMPOSITION OF BOTTOM SEDIMENTS OF THE OMUTNAYA RIVER WITHIN THE TUGAN PLACER NODE (TOMSK REGION)

Research of existential changes mineral and a chemical compound of the Omutnaya river sediments is executed.  Omutnaya in 2018–2019 in limits of Southern-Akeksandrovsky and (in part) Malinovsky sites of the Tugan placer unit (Tomsk suburb, Tomsk region; the basic products of ore sand enrichment are zircon, ilmenite and leikoksen concentrates). It is established that mineral and a chemical composition of sandy and clay particles of river sediments changes within hydrological year and on length of the Omutnaya river in limits of the Tugan placer unit. At constantly high contents of quartz during all seasons, during a spring flood there is an increase in a share of chlorite, and from sources to a mouth

growth of concentration of a lot of elements is marked. During the summer-autumnal and winter period occurs division of sediments due to gradual carrying out and destruction of particles of easy fraction and accumulation of heavy particles fraction, including the particles which containing ilmenite and zircon. The accumulation of iron minerals is possible in river systems and in modern conditions.

Keywords: real composition, mineral composition, chemical composition, river sediments, the Omutnaya river, the Tugan placer unit, Western Siberia.
