ON THE METALLOGENY OF URANIUM IN THE PRECAMBRIAN

The uranium deposits formed in the Proterozoic are considered, their genetic characteristics and possible causal relationships of their formation with the evolution of the tectonic-magmatic environment, geochemical and climatic conditions of the Earth are analyzed. Four impulses uranium deposits are separated, with some pauses between. Every impulse are characterized by its own complex of deposit types.

CHEMICAL AND MINERALOGICAL ANALYSIS FOR GEOCHEMICAL SURVEY

The present state of the art and problems related to provision of laboratory analysis in regional geochemical works in Russia are outlined. By example of FSFE «IMGRE» a list of traditional and new analytical methods is presented in the three lines of geochemical research.

TECTONIC DEFORMATIONS OF SUKARI GOLD DEPOSIT (EGYPT)

Geological structures play an important role in the manifestation of gold mineralization in the Sukari gold mine area. The tectonics study of the area was aimed at studying the orientation and kinematics of ore-controlling and ore-bearing faults and fracture zones of rocks. Sukari gold mine area is complex Precambrian volcanogenic-terrigenous rocks, broken Granitic intrusions embedded a thick sequence of shales and serpentinites. The Sukari gold deposit is confined to an intrusive massif composed of granitoids and gabbro-diorites and consists of four ore-bearing zones stockworks structure, including gold contents. Gold-bearing quartz veins and veinlets are located in the apical part of the granite massif in the Hangingwall. at the contact with carbonaceous shale.

VALUATION AND CONTROL OF HALOGEN CONTENT IN IRON-MANGANESE OCEAN ORES

Mineralogical studies confirmed the presence of iron-manganese oceanic ores (ZMK and KMC) bound forms of halogens – a number of minerals, including chlorine, iodine. With the help of ionometric methods of analysis for the first time it was found that in the ore samples the content of bound fluorine is approximately at the same level, and the mineral forms of chlorine, bromine, iodine are much higher than the content in the rocks of the land, and differ markedly in relation to each other. A significant proportion of chlorine and bromine is easily soluble in mobile state, mainly in the composition of thalassogenic water in the near-surface zone of nodules. For a precise assessment of the content of ore components, it is necessary to control the content of easily volatile halogens, which have an interfering effect on the determination of hygroscopic moisture, and to estimate the total number of halogens in ores – to take into account the content of both forms of halogens.

GEOLOGICAL-GEOPHYSICAL 3D MODEL OF ORE-MAGMATIC SYSTEMS OF SKARN SCHEELITE-SULFIDE DEPOSIT VOSTOK-2 (CENTRAL SIKHOTE-ALIN, PRIMORSKY KRAI)

On the basis of spectral-correlation analysis of gravimetric and magnetic data using computer technology KOSKAD-3D, as well as analysis and generalization of literature sources, geological-structural, deep-density and magnetometric 3D models of geological volume of subsoil were compiled, within which the MZ (Cretaceous) ore-magmatic system (RMS) of the skarn scheelite-sulfide Deposit Vostok-2 was developed and implemented. The geological and geophysical indicators of the ore-bearing volume of subsoil and RMS, identified and characterized on the models, are recommended to be used in the Central and Northern Sikhote-Alin in predicting tungsten-bearing conditions of the ore node-field rank.

ESTIMATION OF A HYDRODYNAMIC ISOLATION OF RESERVOIR BEDS USING HELIOMETRY METHOD

The main principles of using results of heliometry researches for estimation of hydrodynamic isolation of reservoir beds are given in short form (as annotation). Results of the analysis using special hydrogeological map indicate areas of the entrails unpromising for disposal. Those areas were defined by the presence of high-contract helium anomalies. Also there are shown the entrails areas which demand high attention during detail research because of the presence of areas of high helium concentration above background level.

APPLICATION OF THE MODERNIZED MOBILE CONCENTRATOR FOR PRODUCTION OF CONCENTRATES AT DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL AND TECHNOGENIC DEPOSITS

The paper describes the design features of the modernized mobile concentrator, the principle of which is: two-stage mechanical disintegration in the aqueous medium in the impeller and drum disintegrators, sieving into three fractions by size and enrichment of the first two (large) fractions on inclined locks, and the third (small) in centrifugal separators (main and control) according to the developed technological scheme. In recent years, the installation of POU4-3M has been successfully used in exploration for precious metals. The efficiency and reliability of the use of this retrofit is confirmed by the testing of technogenic complex in 2017 waste land of valley placers of the river Wargelin, when along with the base metal «placer platinum» has been removed and the associated.

SEISMIC RISK: CURRENT STATUS OF RESEARCH ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF ENSURING SEISMIC SAFETY OF THE RECIPIENTS IN UZBEKISTAN

The article describes the current state of research on the seismic risk assessment of urban areas in Uzbekistan and the next task to ensure the seismic safety of recipients in the country. Software products for the use of modern ArcGIS technologies in assessing seismic risk areas were developed and registered, and the technology of its use on the example of some cities of Uzbekistan.

TO THE QUESTION OF THE FEASIBILITY OF DEVELOPING A STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPMENT AND USE MINERAL RESOURCES BASE OF COMMON MINERALS IN THE SUBJECT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Common minerals are currently the underutilized resource of the mineral resource complex of the Russian Federation, to which the federal authorities on subsoil use show a clear lack of interest, and the subjects of the RF do not pay proper attention to this wealth of mineral resources. Based on the methodological techniques for the subjects of the Russian Federation on the basis of common approaches, it is proposed to develop a «Strategy for the development and use of the mineral resource base of common minerals» in the long term. Common minerals are extremely important for the socio-economic development of each subject of the RF, contribute to the growth of its economy, improve the quality of life of the living population, cash flow in the form of mineral extraction tax to regional budgets.

ON METHODOLOGICAL SUBSTANTIATION OF ESTIMATION AND ACCOUNTING OF DYNAMIC RESERVES RESOURCES OF RARE METALS IN VOLCANIC GASES

The state of the problem of geological and economic assessment of dynamic reserves and resources of deposits of rare metals in volcanic gases as very specific natural objects is determined. The definition of the concept of deposits of rare metals in volcanic gases is given, the substantiation of the time and spatial boundaries of a specific natural object is presented. Proposed in comparison with analogues developed and approved methods of evaluation, allowing them to be used for the development of methods of exploration and calculation of dynamic reserves of deposits of rare metals in volcanic gases and the preparation and testing in the FSU GKZ relevant «Temporary provisions…». The use of a set of techniques will allow to carry out a justified by their results geological and economic assessment of the object at different stages of exploration to attract investment in the exploration and industrial development of these fields.

GEOECOLOGICAL FACTORS OF ONCOPATHOLOGY PREVALENCE ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN

Radioactivity of the areas of residence is one of the important factors of the geological environment. Ionizing radiation is a factor which influences on development of malignant neoplasms (MN). A higher level of natural radiation in the Republic of Bashkortostan is confined to the zone of the Bashkir meganticlinorium. The increased level of natural radiation in the area with the mining industry is associated with an increase in the MN prevalence. Area with spread of carbonate rocks characterized by reduced MN prevalence, which reflects the possible favorable biological role of these sediments. Correction of the microelement status can be considered as a method of oncoprophylaxis, which requires further study.

FORECAST OF SMOOSHIEST OF BROWN COAL KANSK-ACHINSK BASIN BY THE METHOD OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL CLASSIFICATION REFERENCE POINTS FOR EXAMPLE THE COAL SEAM «BEREZOVSKY»

The basis of developed by authors method of forecasting of spontaneous combustion of coal is based on ranking the data model and the idea is to classify these data on «close» to the reference points. During data exploration geological exploration reservoir Berezovskiy set of geological factors of spontaneous combustion of coal. The transition from the initial data to the rank scale was carried out using the boundary values of the hazard levels. These data were used to construct maps of the forecast of spontaneous combustion of coal seam investigated using the program ArcMap 10.2.

The basic scientific and practical results of rational use and protection of subsoil under underground mining of ore deposits in the conditions of technogenesis are based on reliable geological and surveying and geomechanical support, taking into account the stability of rock masses and the dimensions of the contour energy zone. It is recommended to build ore contours based on the data of advanced exploration (drilling of explorers through 25 m, test wells – after 5-6 m and explosive wells – through 1,2-1,5 m).

WAYS TO IMPROVE SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF THE SOLID MINERALS EXPLORATION

The article deals with the problems and directions of development of scientific and methodological support of geological exploration for solid minerals. The need for a comprehensive analysis of the mineral resource base condition, production and consumption of the most important types of mineral raw materials as the most important factor in the planning of exploration and subsoil use in general is shown. The data on the time limits of supplies depletion of certain types of solid minerals for specific developed areas and regions with a quantitative assessment of the deficit requiring immediate reproduction of raw potential are presented. The necessity of assessment of revealing and development possibility of unconventional objects of mineral raw materials is pointed out. In order to eliminate the emerging shortage of exploration areas it is proposed to accelerate the introduction into the stages of regional studies special type of work – prognostic-mineragenic, aimed at the identifying specific local ore prospective areas. There are also proposals on the need to improve the entire prognostic-exploratory complex on the basis of the introduction into exploration practice modern domestic and foreign technologies: aerogeophysical, including unmanned, ground geophysical, geochemical and geological works, some examples of which are reflected in the article. An important place in the paper is also given to processing technologies and geotechnological methods of solid minerals production, designed to ensure the effective development of deposits with poor, complex and persistent ores that make up a significant part of the unallocated subsoil reserve fund.

GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE AND MINERALOGY OF THE MURZIN GRANITE MASSIF ON THE EASTERN FLANK OF THE MIDDLE URALS

The presented materials characterize the features of the deep structure of the Murzinskiy massif, which is part of a polychronous granite batholith with a concentric zonal structure. The confinement of ore deposits to certain intrusive complexes, gold deposits and manifestations is shown to the eastern exo-contact of the Murzinskiy massif. The authors concluded that there is a high metallogenic potential for the manifestation of ore gold in the superintrusive zone of the Murzinskiy massif.

TYPOCHEMISM OF THE NATIVE GOLD IN THE KINTEREPSKY PLACER FIELDS (EGOR’EVSK ORE-PLACER DISTRICT, NORTH-WESTERN SALAIR)

From the weathering crusts, the products of their local rewashing, alluvial placers of Kinterepsky placer field on the fineness and the content of Hg is allocated 3 basic types of gold: 1 with a fineness of 900 to 1000‰ and Hg concentrations < 1 wt. %; 2 – 830-930‰ and 1-3 wt. % Hg; 3 – 800-900‰ and < 1 wt. % Hg. Copper impurity is found only in gold with a fineness of > 900‰ and is characteristic of Au particles larger than 0,25 mm, which are more common in placers. Based on the chemical composition of the studied gold, its ore sources are likely to belong to the gold-(sulfide)-quartz type.

XENOGENIC CIRCONS IN A WINDY BELT SECTION AS A SIGN OF CRUST’S CONTAMINATION IN PALEOPROTHEROSIS OF SOUTH-EAST OF THE FENNOSKANDINAN SHIELD

In the study of volcanic-sedimentary structures which were formed at the turn of Archaean and Proterozoic, first of all attention is paid to determining the age of volcanic rocks, as the most informative in geodynamic terms. The Windy Belt structure is not an exception, in the context of which two major stages of volcanism are standing out: the first is the Kirich stage and the windy belt stage which is finishing the section of the structure. U-Pb dating of volcanic rocks revealed the participation of crustal matter with an average age of 2.85 billion years in the formation of the Windy Belt section.

PROSPECTS FOR SEARCHING DIAMOND TUBES OF EXPLOSION ON DOUBRUSH-NOVOZYBKOVSKY SQUARE

When re-interpreting geophysical fields, in connection with deep geological mapping in the southeast of Belarus, attention was drawn to the presence of isometric magnetic anomalies with a size of slightly more than 1×1 km in area to the north-west of Dobrush. Similar anomalies were also established on the territory of Russia to the west of Novozybkov – to the border of Belarus. In this paper, we consider the parameters and possible prospects of these anomalies at the Dobrush Novozybkovsky area.

ABLATION AND ACCUMULATION CONDITION OF CHEMICAL ELEMENTS IN THE MOUNTAIN-GLACIAL BASIN AKTRU (MOUNTAIN ALTAY)

Analysis of geochemical data obtained from mountain-glacial basin during the period from 1997 to 2013 shows that content of substance in river waters depends of the presence of an available for interaction substance, the sorption capacity of bottom sediments, conditionally equilibrium concentration of the substance in the same medium, as well as specific rates of dissolution — sedimentation and sorption — desorption under the conditions of the considered natural territorial complex. Basing on the pointed dependence and results of analyzed data of chemical composition of river waters, bottom sediments and soils it is assumed that an additional prospecting for minerals in the area of 12–1 km from the mouth of the r. Aktru within its valley is very perspective. As an additional (applied) purpose of the research could be rate estimation of forming of areas with a high content of chemical elements.

BIOGEOCHEMICAL METHODS FOR DETECTING BLIND DEPOSITS

The biogeochemical methods are available and one of the most effective tools used to discover blind ores. Analysis of recent data on the biogeochemistry of mineral deposits allows to improve the survey techniques, in particular, by designing a suite of key bio-indicators for various types of mineralization. The radioisotopic indicators (210Po and 210Pb activities, total activity in the ashed plant samples) were studied at the site of the concealed uranium deposit Stolbovoe, where their combined anomalies helped localize the mineralization zone.

ACTIVATED FAULT TECTONICS AND FORMATION OF HYDROCARBON DEPOSITS IN THE SEDIMENTARY-NATURAL BASIN IN THE SOUTH OF THE SIBERIAN PLATFORM

It is argued that deposits in the productive formation of the Precambrian terrigenous complex were formed due to sub-vertical fluid flows from sub-fundamental sources under the influence of fault activations of early northeastern generations, and in the productive carbonate horizons of the Vendian-Cambrian and Lower Cambrian – due to the re-formation of deposits in terrigenous formations under the influence of faults of late north-western generation. At the same time, the deposits were formed in the zones overlapping to faults of earlier generation. This means that in the carbonate reservoirs it is impossible to achieve the advanced development of deposits, and in determining the order of prospecting the terrigenous horizons should be considered as basic or priority. The results of the studies are consistent with the deposits distribution on 35 fields in the south of the Siberian Platform.

BLOCK OF NICKEL ORE IN THE MORAINE DEPOSITS OF THE DUKUKSKY ORE REGION OF THE KAMCHATKA NICKEL PROVINCE

In the upper reaches of the Khihku river, on the left side, near the riverbed, in the moraine sediments, a block of intensely sulfidized rocks of ultramafic composition of size 0,7 x 1,0 m and weight of about 2 t was found and studied. The amount of sulfides is from 30 to 70 %. The main minerals are pyrrhotite (70–85 %), chalcopyrite (5–15 %) and pentlandite (5–7 %). The average content of ore elements is (in %): nickel – 1,99, copper – 1,83, cobalt – 0,077; precious metals (in g/t): platinum – 0,28, palladium – 0,35, gold – 0,29.

TECTONIC OF THE PRE-MEZOZOYSKY MEGACOMPLEX OF THE PRIURAL PART WEST SIBERIAN GEOSYNECLISE ON EXAMPLE OF URAI AREA

The technology of constructing the tectonics scheme of the domezozoic megacomplex (consolidated foundation) of the Uray area Priural part West Siberian geosyneclise on the basis of 3D density model of lithosphere upper part to a depth of 80 km is considered. It is shown that specificity of the structure earth’s crust is an important factor for regional geological mapping and regional-area prediction, especially when searching for hydrocarbons in the lower sediments and new objects.

ASSESSMENT OF THE GEODYNAMIC SITUATION ACCORDING TO THE HYDROGEODEFORMATION (HGD) FIELD MONITORING DATA

The developed recommendations on the increase of geodynamic information content of the monitoring of the HGD field carried out by the FSBI «Hydrospetzgeologiya» in the seismically dangerous regions of Russia. The issues of aquifer selection are considered, under constant monitoring of the hydrodynamic, hydrochemical and thermodynamic mode of groundwater in each observation well. The necessity of complex monitoring of the HGD field and geophysical fields, in particular of the electromagnetic field, on the created polygons in seismically active regions and the comparative analysis of their results is considered. The results of the assessment of the geodynamic situation with respect to the energy parameters of the HGD field, the cycles of hydrogeodynamic impulses, and the attractors that unite them during the preparation and manifestation of the Kultuksk earthquake, greatly enhance the geodynamic information content of the monitoring of the HGD field.

Geological and mineralogo-technological evaluation of the Gaikola differentiated intrusion, Karelia, was performed.The authors have shown that Gaikola is a complex occurrence. In addition to chromite and copper-nickel ores, other useful minerals are Mg-rich ultramafics. It has also been shown that ultramafics of pyroxene composition can be used as a high-Mg raw material for the production of facing building materials.

Of the gold deposits of the Far Eastern Federal District in recent years, more than half of Russia’s gold is mined. The main production sites in return for depleted placers are ore deposits. Of these, in the first place were worked out deposits with rich and easily enriched ores. For the exploitation of deposits with hard and labor-intensive ores, it is necessary to introduce new modern methods of gold extraction.

The article presents data about accumulation of thorium and uranium in poplar leaves in the cities of North Asia. The mean contents of radioelements and the indicator ratio of thorium to uranium are estimated. The influence of natural and technogenic factors of radionuclides accumulation in Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Krasnokamsk and etc. is considered in detail. Aerosol air transport plays an important role in the accumulation of radioactive elements in poplar leaves.

With the creation of the geochemical basis 1:1 000 000 scale (GHB-1000) on the territory of the Urals  allocated 10 highly promising areas for the discovery of large deposits of Au, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, and rare metals. Kolinska-Bulanash manganese zone and ferromanganese Turin pool were localized at platform of the sheet. The prospect of Kolinska-Bulanash zone is low. Industrial value could have limonite and iron-manganese ores in Turin pool.

STATUS, PROBLEMS AND IMPROVEMENT OF NORMATIVE-METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF MULTI-SCALED GEOCHEMICAL WORKS

The status analysis of normative-methodological support of geochemical works has been carried out. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the existing methodological documents on a number of important positions are outdated and do not correspond to the current level of the geochemical prospecting theory and practice development. The updating relevance of the normative-methodical base for geochemical works has been proved. The new approaches and methods of geochemical work as well as interpretation of geochemical information, developed over the past two decades, have been indicated. These approaches and methods should be reflected in the updated requirements for the production and results of geochemical works in the creation of geochemical bases for the Additional Geological Study at 1:200 000 scale and the State Geological Map at 1: 1 000 000 scale.

NEW APPROACHES TO THE MINERAGENIC ASSESSMENT OF THE RUSSIAN SECTOR OF THE ARCTIC

Insufficient effectiveness of existing continental- and regional-scale prognostic mineragenic maps is associated with the crisis of the well-known metallogenic concepts based on the cyclical frequency of occurrence of geological events from Proto-Archaean through Mesozoic-Cenozoic. The proposed approach to the predictive mineragenic assessment of the area studied is based upon the physic-geochemical zoning of the deep structures of the Early Precambrian basement from the standpoint of the paradigm of V.S. Shkodzinsky about irreversible hot heterogeneous accretion of the Earth resulting in the formation of the global magmatic ocean. Crystallization and fractionation of the latter led to the formation of the acid early Precambrian crust and the generation of deep magmas of different composition from AR through MZ. The mechanisms of transport and localization of ores and hydrocarbons associated with invading mantle and mantle-crust melts are considered.

STRUCTURAL-GEOCHEMICAL ZONING OF THE ARCTIC SECTOR OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The assessment of the minerogenic potential of the territories is based upon nonlinear halo-forming processes acting in the mode of self-organization. Based on structural-geochemical zoning of the Russian Arctic, the ranked taxa series of I and II orders, the synchronous zonal structure of the geochemical fields of the ore region rank, and a quantitative assessment of the predicted gold resources are presented.

ORE FUTURE OF COMBUSTIBLE SHALES

A brief review of the metalliferous combustible shales of the world is shown. A description of the dictyonema shales (graptolite argillites) of the Baltic shale basin is given. The concentrations of rare-earth metals and uranium in this rocks is not so high, but the forms of accumulation of metals give a possibilites for the leaching. The main features of the technological processes of uranium leaching from shales are briefly described. The results of experimental studies on the leaching of rare-earth metals and uranium from dictyonema shales with various solvents are analyzed. The comparison of metal contents of the dictyonema shales of the Baltic basin and combustible shales of Volga shale basin is done. The conclusion about the potential processing shale like a complex uranium-rare metals ore is made.

THE USE OF GLAUCONITE IN THE SOLUTION OF PROBLEMS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND RESTORATION OF NATURAL PROPERTIES SOIL AND WATER ENVIRONMENT

Dangerous pollutants of the bio-and hydrosphere are heavy metals that enter the environment as a result of human production activities. Elements, such as mercury, lead, cadmium, copper tend to gain a foothold in the individual links of the biological cycle, it can accumulate in the biomass of microorganisms and plants and in the food chains to get into the organisms of animals and humans. At present, one of the effective methods of soil purification from this kind of pollution is the use of sorption technologies using natural or synthetic sorbents. High sorption properties is glauconite, which takes the reach of plant status salts of heavy metals and radionuclides containing as contained in the soil.
