CURRENT STATE AND DEVELOPMENT FORECAST OF COAL MINING IN THE KEMEROVO REGION FOR THE PERIOD UP TO 2028
The article provides an analysis of the actual volumes of coal output and a forecast of coal mining development in the Kemerovo region for the period until 2028. The mechanisms of state influence on the volumes of coal mining through the policy of the Federal Agency for Mineral Resources are determined.

GEOHISTORICAL TRENDS IN THE METALLOGENY OF RARE EARTH ELEMENTS
The authors consider a distribution of resources of rare earth elements (REE) accumulated in large to superlarge mineral deposits (LSMD) during the geological history of Earth. The LSMD are related predominantly to carbonatite and alkaline magmatic complexes. The ore bodies related to the complexes are often additionally enriched in supergene zones. A small part of the total resources are concentrated in the supergene formations independent of specific magmatic bodies. Every supercontinent cycle is expressed in a special way in the REE metallogeny: specific features revealed include meaningful variations between the cycles in the number of LSMD, their deposit type diversity, amount of accumulated resources, and some other features.

PROSPECTS OF GOLD CONTENT OF ORE-PLACER SITES IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE PRIAMURSKAYA PROVINCE
In the northern part of the Priamurskaya gold-bearing province, the Severo-Stanovaya with the Southern and Northern subzones and the South Yakut metallogenic zones are distinguished. In them, 33 ore-placer sites are arranged, differing in geological structure, features of gold mineralization and productivity of placers. According to the level of gold mining, three nodes are classified as medium productive (Sugdzharsky, Kabaktansky and Verkhnetimptonsky), the rest – to low-yielding ones. Within the northern part of the province, 97.2 tons of alluvial and about 0.5 tons of ore gold were mined, which indicates that the territory has not been sufficiently studied for ore gold. Seven ore-alluvial sites – Sugdzharskiy, Kabaktansky, Verkhnetimptonsky, Bamsky, Kalarsky, Sologu-Chaidakhsky and Laprinsky are the most promising for discovering new deposits of ore and placer gold.

PRECIOUS METALS MINERALIZATION OF MIKHAILOVSKY ORE ASSAMBLAGE OF KMA
The article summarizes the data regarding accompanying gold mineralization of ferriferous ore of Mikhailovsky Ore Quarry including new data about expected resources of Gold, Platinum and Palladium under P1, P2 and P3 categories both within the area of proved ferriferous ores Reserves and beyond the external outline of the Reserves evaluation. The conclusion is done that an independent precious metals ore region with industrial resources of Gold, Platinum and Palladium exists in a united complex with well-known Iron reserves on the territory of Kursk Magnetic Anomaly in Central Russia.

LOCAL VARIATIONS OF THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD OF TECHNOGENIC AND GEO-DYNAMIC NATURE IN THE DISTRICT OF CHARVAK RESERVOIR
Brought analysis data of the perennial observations geomagnetic field on the territory Charvak water reservoir, which is revealed, that local anomalies geomagnetic field are connected with simultaneous and total manifestation of the processes, in accordance with change the volume of water reservoir and change to activities local seismicity, considered questions of the use these result at forecasting of the earthquakes.

QUARTZ VEINS № 175 KISHTIMSKOE DEPOSITS GRANULATED QUARTZ (SOUTH URAL) AS A BENCHMARK FOR QUALITY ASSESSMENT OF QUARTZ RAW MATERIALS
The results of physical and technological characteristics of the quartz of vein № 175 of the Kishtimskoe deposit (South Urals). Granular quartz of vein № 175 is characterized by insignificant contents of mineral and structural impurities, as well as gas-fluid inclusions, and using certain enrichment technologies, it makes it possible to obtain quartz concentrates of JOTA brand. In the article, the vein was considered as a reference object, which should be used for comparison with quartz raw materials of other deposits in determining its suitability for surfacing of extremely pure quartz glass.

NEW TRENDS OF DEEP-SEA POLYMETALLIC SULFIDES TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH
The article is devoted to the study of the material composition and technological properties of a new mineral species of minerals of the World Ocean – deep-sea polymetallic sulphides (DSPS). In the course of research, the behavior in the technological processes of copper, iron and sulfur was studied, and the potential for the use of this type of raw material as a source for the associated production of rare and dispersed elements was estimated. It is shown that the prospects for processing DSPS are associated with combined technologies, including flotation and pyro-hydrometallurgical processing of concentrates. It was revealed that rare and scattered elements mainly concentrate in concentrates of copper, zinc and iron. The industrial content of selenium has been determined and the possibility of its associated production in the processing of initial ores of DSPS and copper concentrates has been investigated.

RUSSIAN GOLD — PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION
Information on the Russian gold mining and processing industry, as well as data on the gold production, consumption, export and import are presented. Characteristics of the leading gold mining companies are considered. The main spheres of gold use are considered. It is demonstrated that the main demand for gold is investment and it is provided mainly by financial institutions. Gold consumption in Russia is satisfied by the domestic production.

THE NEED FOR A CHANGE OF PARADIGM IN THE SEARCH FOR DIAMONDS IN RUSSIA
Modern approaches to prospecting for diamonds in Russia and Angola are considered. An analysis of the development strategy and forecasts for the growth of the mineral resources base of ALROSA was carried out. Based on the analysis, a conclusion was made that change of approach to exploration work for diamond deposits in the Russian Federation is necessary.
