THE MONITORING MINERAL RESOURCE BASE – THE NECESSARY DIRECTIONS OF WORK INTO TODAY’S ECONOMY

There was based of advanced technologies for monitoring searches, evaluation, exploration and mining of solid minerals in Russia and abroad, information-analytical review has been prepared according to their current state of development and new trends and use of mineral resources base of leading commodity-dependent countries. This conclusions and recommendations of the work can be used to make management decisions on the innovative development of the mineral resource base of solid minerals, it was formed the basis of the Ministry of Russia proposals for the formation and implementation of import substitution programs, as well as the development of research, development and pilot projects in exploration, mining and processing mineral resources.

INFERRED RESOURCES OF URANIUM OF RUSSIA

There is the history of establishment and incremental development dynamics inferred resources base of uranium of Russia for the period 1998-2015. it is shown that the main role in spatial distribution of inferred resources belongs to the Eastern part of the country – Eastern Siberia and the Far East, where about 88 % of the resources of categories P2 and P3 and more than 70 % of P1. The analysis considered the distribution of inferred resources based on the expected geological-industrial types of uranium deposits. The attention was drawn to the insufficient implementation of inferred resources of uranium and the need for significant growth in the next 15 years to ensure the reproduction of redeemable 2030 inventory.

THE NEW INFORMATION ON THE DEEP STRUCTURE OF THE TSAKINSKOGO – GABBRO-LABRADORITE MASSIF (KOLA PENINSULA)

There was perform interpretation of the gravitational field with the involvement of seismic results allowed us to estimate the depth of the lower boundary Tsaginskogo array bearing titaniferous magnetite mineralization with associated vanadium, and it gave characterize the differentiation of its internal structure.These was presented by the array looks like a plate-like body with a power of 3.5 km and its extension to the north and east beyond the boundaries set by the erosion on the surface. At depths of 0.1 – 0.4 km from the surface of the body have been identified with abnormal density, which indicates the presence of significant amounts of titanium magnetite ores.

SUCCINCT GOLD DEPOSIT AREA COQUIMBO (REPUBLIC OF CHILE)

We were considered low volume gold deposits of the Republic of Chile on the example of the field Yaping.  There Characteristics of the geological structure of the objects and the mineralogical and geochemical features of ores, among which are highlighted: low-sulphide vein-disseminated (Escondida), stringer-disseminated from low-sulphide to sulphide (San Alberto) and low-sulphide vein-veinlets (Eastern zone).  According to the geochemical characteristics of mineralization is related to the products of copper-porphyry ore-forming system. It has been concluded that the described field – typical sites for artisanal mining, which gives a significant contribution to the country’s annual production.  The development of such production in our country is, given the large number of small deposits of gold, it would give an additional 5 to 10 tons of gold per year.

STRUCTURE TEST WELL AND SEARCH GEOCHEMISTRY: DIFFERENCES IN TARGETS AND METHODS OF WORK

The reasons are analyzed low search efficiency leading geochemical surveys midrange. It was suggested to distinguish between targets and methods of geochemical mapping and geochemical exploration. It is shown that there is a need for commercial geochemical exploration in the territory of medium-sized clusters identified in the CC-200.

SERNOVODSKAYA LAND – NEW ACCOMMODATION BENTONITE RAW MATERIALS IN THE NORTH CAUCASUS

The study of the material composition of Miocene clay Sunzha area was isolated Sernovodskaya site perspective on bentonite raw materials and includes 2 seam – Sarmatsky (north) and Chokrak (south). In Sarmatsky reservoir were installed bentonite, bentonite and opal-cristobalite clay, clay part refers to polymineral. Bentonite clay and bentonite are suitable for the manufacture of drilling and molding clay powder, opal-cristobalite – adsorbents.

DISTRIBUTION OF FLUID-KORYAK-KAMCHATKA REGION ACCORDING MAGNETOTELLURIC SOUNDING

Interpretation of magnetotelluric informatiom in the Koryak-Kamchatka region, was carried out in the mode of selection of 3D models to the invariant characteristics of the impedance matrix and the tipper allowed to build the electrical conductivity distribution scheme of the crust and mantle, select conductive blocks under the most activated in the seismic and volcanic region of the structure. They were confined to sublatitudinal, northwest regional faults, north-eastern structures of the crust and upper mantle.  Increased conduction band has correlated with the position of low-speed and low-density blocks, which may be due to their fluid saturation.

APPLICATION OF INTEGRATED GEOPHYSICAL WORK FOR THE STUDY OF URANIUM DEPOSITS YOUNG NONEQUILIBRIUM IN VITIM-KARENGSK AREA

According to the results of research and methodological work in the territory of Vitim-Karengsk district criteria for selection of a new type of non-equilibrium subsurface deposits of uranium were installed in the physical fields. The main characteristic of the zone is a non-equilibrium state between uranium and its decay products, which does not effectively apply the classical methods of radiometric and gamma-spectrometry based on the measurement of gamma-radiation.  The study of geophysical methods of ozones have based on the mapping of the intensive areal or point contiguous anomalies radioactivity mostly natural uranium, near-surface anomalies correlate with higher conductivity and polarizability values ​​in zones of tectonic disturbances contrasting geochemical anomalies of uranium contents in alluvial deposits and radon anomalies. There is formed a statistical search of physical and geological model to determine the size and location of the transfer elements promising geochemical barriers in the surface layer characteristic of the Trans-Baikal Territory.

THE ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF FORECASTING OF GEOLOGICAL PROCESSES

Reviewed current problems of forecasting of dangerous geological processes (UCP) in the twenty-first century. It was noted that forecasting of exogenous geological processes (EGP) due to global climate change and anthropogenic factor. For the assessment of climate change and major disasters was used by the atmospheric circulation of the Northern hemisphere, developed by B. L. Dzerdzeevskii. The largest disaster in which there was intensification of landslides and mudflows, and the interaction of these disasters of natural and technogenic factors.

THE BEHAVIOR OF MANGANESE AND RARE EARTH ELEMENTS IN THE HYDROMETALLURGICAL PROCESSING OF COMPLEX RARE-METAL-RARE-EARTH ORES

For the processing of complex rare-metal-rare-earth ore studies have been conducted on the use of autoclave nitric acid two-stage technology with the introduction of a leach solution of a reducing agent, which showed that redox reactions in the system Mn+4/+2 and Ce+3/+4 – acid – H2O2 enhance the degree of extraction in a solution of manganese with partial loss of REE, due to the oxidation of cerium.

THE RISK ASSESSMENT OF PROJECT FOR THE EXTRACTION OF NONFERROUS AND RARE METALS FROM WASTE DEPOSITS

It was given the risk classification, which affected the economic viability of projects for the extraction of nonferrous and rare metals from waste deposits. The formula for calculating the economic, environmental, social and indirect effects of projects on the development of these facilities are subject to risks defined qualitative and quantitative methods were definited. Also, analysis of the sustainability of projects by the SWAT was held.
