The examples of main types of ore controlling structures found in electromagnetic survey data were given: disjunctive, block, fold. These examples show the efficiency of frequency electromagnetic survey to solve the problems of structural mapping. There were some suggestions to use electromagnetic survey, which is based on variable fields, to locate prospective areas within the identified ore controlling areas. (Aerogeophysica) // fedorl@aerogeo.ru THE POSSIBILITIES OF AIRBORNE MAGNETIC SURVEY WHEN MAPPING ANCIENT RIVER AND SHORELINE SEDIMENTS In 2008-2011 when GNPP «Aerogeophysica» was performing airborne magnetic survey on the territory of Southern Federal District, some magnetic anomalies related to alluvium of the middle Miocene paleochannels. Three paleovalleys of different ages superposed by the Pliocene alluvium and not visible in the geometry, as well as river sediments at watershed, were mapped with the help of the data. The former coincide with the territories which underwent sinking at neotectonic stage, and the latter underwent lifting. Low intensity linear local anomalies which resulted either from orebody of U-P-TR formation oxidation in the areas of disjunctive dislocations, or are related to the initial concentrations of magnetic minerals in coastal Late Oligocene bar resembling shoals, were also discovered. Key words: aerogeophysica, airborne magnetic survey, magnetic field, paleovalley. Р. 37-42 |

Some dolerite dykes, central type basite intrusions, assumed sills and blow holes were discovered there. Hoperskiy dyke belt was traced over a significant distance to the south and east, a lot of special features of its structure were revealed, they were those features that had been missed by the previously conducted research. Some similarities with the structure of Viluysko-Markhinskiy diamond-bearing dyke belt of the same age, which was discovered in Yakutiya, are adduced. The question of a feasible presence of kimberlite magnetism and possible diamond content in Hoperskiy dyke belt is raised. Key words: magnetic anomalies, Hoperskiy dyke belt, the Middle Paleozoic basite dykes, Viluysko-Markhinskiy dyke belt, kimberlite holes, disjunctive dislocations. Р. 46-50 |

(Aerogeophysica) // fedorl@aerogeo.ru INTRAPLATE MAGMATISM OF THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE SIBERIAN CRATON GNPP «Aerogeophysica» performed a number of airborne surveys in the southern part of the Siberian craton in 2006-2009. The framework of trappean and dike complexes of different ages was clarified. The most ancient, Riphean, is a series of sills and dikes of dolerites and quartz gabbro-dolerite at the south-eastern edge of the Baikal-Patomskiy fold system. A trappean complex was formed on the southern side of the Kempendyaiskaya depression in Devonian Period, the complex is represented by volcanogenic and intrusive formations. New data revealing the structure of Triassic traprock in the south of the Tunguska syneclise was received. Four stages of magnetism were identified. Volcano-tectonic depressions and paleo-volcanic structures of central type were discovered. A connection was established between intraplate magmatism occurrences and rift structures. The most vivid manifestation of internal structure of the complexes can be seen in magnetic field transformants. Internal structure of gabbroid massives of Kharameysko-Maslovskiy complex shows the brightest manifestation in a magnetic field as an alternation of concentric local anomalies. Titanium magnetite ores are confined to these massives. Volcanogenic sedimentary-exhalative deposits are manifested through alternations of linear local magnetic anomalies. The results of modeling show that besides density contrast «crust-mantle», the crust-mantle transition zone (CM layer) also influences gravity field structure greatly. Mapping of top and thickness of crust-mantle layer has been done with the help of correlation technique of airborne geophysical data interpretation.
