(«Soyuzgeoprom Group» CJSC) //aus-job62@mail.ru PROSPECTING AND APPRAISAL WORKS FOR COAL AND HIGH-MELTING CLAYS IN THE NORTHERN PARTS OF CENTRAL AND VOLGA FEDERAL DISTRICTS An analysis of the state of the mineral resources base of fire clay, which allows making a conclusion about the relevance and appropriateness of the prospecting and appraisal work at the refractory and refractory clay on prospective areas in the Northern cha peculiarities of the Central Federal district and Volga Federal district. Data on evaluation of probable resources of refractory clay witness gave a low level of knowledge of most objects. In connection with the restructuring of the industry of construction materials and growth of capital construction requirements alumina feedstock. Distribution of deposits of clay raw materials in the Central Federal district and Volga Federal district is extremely uneven, which leads to a significant increase in the cost of manufactured products. With this in mind, the need for alternative sources of water supply allowing to provide communities with drinking water at lower cost is evident. Ground waters could be a solution. Their use could well be expanded in the nearest future thanks to a favorable combination of environmental and economic factors. (State unitary scientific-research institute of secure of life activity of the Republic of Bashkortostan) // belan77767@mail.ru RIVER EROSION IN THE BASHKIR URALS AS DANGEROUS GEOLOGICAL PROCESS This article discusses the intensity of river erosion typical of of the Bashkir Urals. In the area under river (lateral) erosion – the most common and yet least-studied process. Revealed that the most active bank erosion occurs at the boundaries of different height morfoblokov with a different sign and the amplitude of oscillatory motion. The obtained results allow us to understand the patterns of distribution and dynamics of coastal erosion.
