In relatively quiescent tectonic settings, regeneration albite develops, generally over the fragments of terrigenous albite (albite-oligoclase). The process of plagioclase deanorthitization is accounted for by the internal resources of the mineral elements, while origination of regeneration (vein) albite requires Na, Al, and Si inflow from the outside.
