\/>\n<span class=\"annotation-text\">This paper gives a brief overview of the Kingash sulfide complex ore deposit, the first such deposit discovered in the Eastern Sayan. It contains nickel as its main component, and copper, cobalt, platinoids, gold and silver as associated components. This deposit, discovered, prospected and explored by Krasnoyarsk geologists, is so far the largest discovered in the Kingash ore province (KOP): its nickel reserves, falling into categories B, C1, C2, exceed 1 million tons. We have studied the geological structure of this ore bed, its morphology and morphometry, the mineral and chemical composition of the syngenetic impregnation ores and epigenetic lode massive ores it comprises, their spatial distribution pattern. The simultaneous exploitation of the KOP deposits will eventually bring into existence a new copper and nickel ore mining centre in the south of Krasnoyarsk Krai.
